Water Park...

Omigosh, what an amazing day we had at Splash!! Seriously, this place was such a great place to take Dakota. It's an aquatic center that has a small water park set in the back of the facility for summertime fun. It's not your typical water park (costly and crowded), which made the experience so much more enjoyable. Ya, it doesn't have a million water slides, but we won't be hittin' those for at least 5-6 years. This place is geared more for the pint-size crowd, which is just perfect for us. Of course Dakota tore off like a crazed woman as soon as she was released from her stroller. Note to self, put sunscreen on before water is in sight!!

Daddy had a lot of fun taking Dakota around too. To show her appreciation, she gave him a BIG ole kiss on the cheek for the very first time. She has been giving kisses for awhile now, but would never kiss anywhere on the face. She loves her daddy though!!

We walked around a bit and found a super cool pirate ship. Dakota loved running around the thing and playing peek-a-boo through the portholes and other openings. We also found the winding river and decided to float around awhile. Dakota was all smiles...

Lastly, we took Dakota over to the ground fountain, which she's pretty familiar with from Irvine Spectrum. She would pace back and forth between the different spouts, all the while screaching and squealing in pure excitement...
