Chuck E Cheeeeese!!!

We decided to hit up good ole Chuck E Cheese about a month ago, since Dakota had never been and, well, Mommy & Daddy were craving some pizzaaaa!!! Of course, we barely got to enjoy our pizza with Dakota spazzing out next to us. What were we thinking? There is no way any kid could or would sit patiently with music, games, rides and a human habitrail just a hop, skip and a jump away. DUHHHH mom!

So after we inhaled our pizza and pounded on our chests to make the heartburn go away, we let Miss Dakota run around and do whatever her little heart desired. And where did she go first? Yep, the horse vide game. I can't tell you how much fun this girl had on this ride. She LOVED that ride so much, she went on it 6 times. I think her face says it all...

So, after we peeled her away from the horse game, she ran around some more, mostly pointing and screaming at whatever caught her attention and tickled her funny bone. She loved skee ball, but obviously couldn't get the ball anywhere near the holes. That's okay though, that's what daddy was there for!

I took so many more pictures than what I've posted, but unfortunately mommy had it on the wrong setting, and more than 1/2 of the pictures taken came out blurry. Oh well!

And I mean oh well because we just went again this past weekend. This time Mommy got her camera settings right!! When we got there, we let Dakota run around a bit before sitting down to eat, which was definitely the way to go! I think it built up her appetite because she certainly chowed down on Mommy's food. I say Mommy's food because Daddy doesn't like to share. He does when I give him "the look", but otherwise he's like a snarling dog when Dakota reaches for anything on his plate.

Anyway, this time Dakota had fun playing skee ball, riding the horsie 5 times, going down the slide, and collecting tickets that Mommy & Daddy racked up playing basketball...

Mommy was a bit nervous since it went up REALLY high!

I think the neatest thing that this place has to offer are the picture booths. They barely cost a thing (1 token, which equals out to about 30 cents), and it's a super cool momento! I totally dug the sketch booth. Not only does it look cool, but it also has the date printed on it. I think they turned out pretty neat...

The other booths were just as nifty. Dakota actually loved the photo card booth. She liked it mostly because she got to look at herself on the big screen above, but also because she loved sticking her hand in the slot to get the card out. So I let her get 4 cards. LOL
